The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation team of accounting professionals oversee all accounting and financial activities, and establish financial policies, procedures, internal controls and reporting systems.
What you’ll do
The Manager, Accounting is responsible for overseeing the organization’s accounting operations and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. This role leads and supports the accounting team, maintains effective internal controls and systems, and provides expert financial analysis, reporting, and advice to senior leadership. This position also ensures compliance with legislative and professional accounting standards, supports audit and budgeting processes, and contributes to continuous improvement of financial practices and controls.
