About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Administrator to support our operations across Vancouver Island, including hauling operations, recycling facilities, transfer stations, and landfills. This isn't a typical desk job. While you will own core financial duties like month‑end closing, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable, you will also step out into the field to work closely with site managers, drive operational improvements, and keep our regional logistics running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger & Month‑End Close
- Drive the month‑end schedule: Execute the month‑end closing cycle (Day + 1 to +5) by posting journal entries, reclassifying maintenance costs, and clearing undefined revenue.
- Collaborate with leadership: Partner with the Site Controller to ensure all operational manager submissions are completed accurately and on time.
