About the Role
Accountant I, Accounting - GLSS Global Bank Reconciliation will report directly to the GLSS Manager, Accounting.
The primary responsibilities include ensuring that cash financial transactions are properly recorded, performing bank reconciliations, providing timely resolutions to reconciling items, and driving process improvement within the assigned processes.
What You Will Do in This Role
- Perform daily analysis of WD cash accounts transactions against bank ledgers and drive timely recording of transactions in the ledger.
- Prepare accurate cash account reconciliations compliant with SOX requirements and ensure timely closure of open/reconciling items.
- Monitor accuracy of cash ledger information, investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose resolutions.
