Accountant
Our client is currently hiring for the position of Accountant.
Responsibilities:
. Process and verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
. Ensure all invoices are properly approved and supported with relevant documentation.
. Prepare and process supplier payments through bank transfers, cheques, and other payment methods.
. Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
. Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure timely settlement of outstanding liabilities.
. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
. Record journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
. Coordinate with procurement, stores, and other departments regarding invoice and payment issues.
. Handle employee expense reimbursements and petty cash settlements.
