Job Description
**Job Overview:**
As an Accountant 2 within IQVIA's EMEA General Accounting Team you will deliver high-impact accounting services across multiple EMEA entities ensuring timely accurate and fully compliant financial reporting in line with IQVIA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) US/UK GAAP SOX requirements and local statutory regulations. This role plays a critical part in the financial close process safeguarding the integrity of both the balance sheet and profit and loss while strengthening a robust control environment within a fast-paced highly international organization.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Support month-end close processes for multiple legal entities within Europe ensuring deadlines are met.
+ Prepare and post journal entries (Opex/Capex) with appropriate supporting documentation.
+ Maintain the integrity of general ledger accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet).
