Technical Inside Account Manager
Location: Concord, ON & GTA
MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm that recruits on behalf of hiring companies.
Role Overview
Our client is an established distributor of industrial equipment in Ontario. They are seeking a junior technical salesperson to groom from inside to the field, taking over an established book of business, managing and growing the existing customer base. The position is a hybrid inside/outside sales role requiring an engineering education combined with interpersonal sales skills.
In the first 6–12 months you will spend 5 days per week in the Concord office before becoming field‑based in the GTA, covering a territory from Toronto to Burlington, Huntsville and Belleville.
Responsibilities
- Process phone/fax/email inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
- Prepare quotations, contracts and proposals.
