Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement therapy protocols.
  • Ensure holistic student welfare.
  • Maintain case notes and reports progress.
  • Maintain close relationships and communication with all stakeholders of the classroom/ school.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group sessions.
  • Manage student behaviours in classroom.
  • Meet with teachers to support the student's needs in their classrooms.
  • Carry out special duties (e.g., outdoor recreation area monitor, extra-curricular activities, holiday camps, school fairs, open houses).
  • Mentor/ support Teachers in the behavioural management realm.
  • Modify lessons according to each child’s ability level.
  • Be knowledgeable on professional techniques and best practices in special education.
  • Adhere to school's SOPs.
