Overview

A position as an Air to Air Refueling Systems and BOOM System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join the TADYR2 department. The mission of the Air to Air Refueling Systems organization is to conceive, develop, certify and support in service, along the complete product lifecycle, the solutions (systems, installations, equipment, integral support services) for air‑to‑air refueling capabilities in Airbus DS platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop boom actuation and control systems

• Design and develop electromechanical and hydraulic actuators
• Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals: design (CATIA), stress, fatigue, and mechanisms
• Plan and execute flight‑control systems A/C installations: electrical and mechanical installation, rigging, and electrical wiring design (SeeXP, segregation, etc.)
