Location: Napier
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday
- Morning Half-Day Shifts: 8.00am - 1.00pm / 8.30am - 1.30pm
- Occasionally rostered to start as early as 7.30am
Job Responsibilities
- Perform venepuncture and blood collection according to established procedures.
- Correctly identify patients and label specimens accurately.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of blood specimens.
- Monitor patients during and after blood collection to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate documentation of specimen collection.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards.
- Provide professional and courteous service to patients.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
