Job Description

Work with the Buckingham County Extension faculty, staff, and community partners in delivery of quality 4-H educational programs. The person in this position will work with 4-H youth in after-school, school enrichment, and other 4-H programming to include summer camps. This person may support agriculture and natural resources programming efforts and joint programming.

Required Qualifications

Experience working with youth of broad backgrounds. Experience interacting effectively with youth and adults both orally and in writing. Must be well organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to recruit, motivate, and engage youth and adult volunteers. Must be willing to work as a team member with VCE faculty and staff, local stakeholders, partnering agencies, and volunteers.
