Job Description
Technique is looking for a 2D Laser Technician to join our team at our Jackson, Michigan facility.
This position reports to the 2D Laser Manager in the 2D Laser department.
This is a skilled technical role responsible for the operations, programming, and maintenance of 2D flatbed laser cutting equipment, requiring the ability to read blueprints, make fast and accurate decisions relating to equipment and processes, and apply safe work practices as defined by company and department safety procedures.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of manufacturing experience and a solid foundation in metal finishing, blueprint reading, and laser machine operation.
Experience with tech table modification, preventative maintenance, and software-based cutting path adjustments is a strong plus.
