Job Description
Temporary Faculty Pool - Lecturer in Viticulture Location: Fresno.
Job Type: Instructional Faculty – Temporary/Lecturer, Part Time (Unit 3 – CFA – California Faculty Association).
Position Summary The department seeks qualified candidate(s) to teach undergraduate courses such as:
Introductory Viticulture
General Viticulture
Grape Pest and Disease Management
Table Grape and Raisin Production
Organic Viticulture
Digital Viticulture
Other classes that may be identified as needed
Instructor Responsibilities Adhere to and implement university and system-wide policies per Academic Policy Manual 306, paragraph 2.
Prepare, deliver, conduct, proctor, and grade lectures, office hours, homework assignments, quizzes, class projects, and midterm/final exams.
Ensure all classes are offered and meet as scheduled throughout the entire semester in the mode assigned (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid).
