FULLTIME Counselors, Social Workers, and Other Community and Social Service Specialists

The ArtsCamp Counselor reports to the ArtsCamp Director. In this role, the Camp Counselor works with and supports other staff counselors and instructors in all ArtsCamp planning, execution, and overall operations including: activities, workshops, events and performances for the safety and support of participants and staff which will include promoting YMCA core values and encourage lifelong learning. This position is responsible for providing community leadership, the ability to demonstrate high quality member service to both internal and external program participants, families, members, and volunteers to ensure member involvement, service and retention. Each ArtsCamp counselor is responsible for developing, planning, and executing various aspects of the ArtsCamp program, as well as working with ArtsCamp Lead Counselors and the director to write lesson plans and supply order lists. 1.
