Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop new suppliers, request sample for production to test, negotiate pricing and terms
  • Compare supplies example : pricing, delivery on time and good service
  • To ensure orders come in according to schedule in order for production to run smoothly
  • To ensure all records of goods ordered and received
  • To cancel the Purchase Requisition if the stock in warehouse is still high
  • Expediting materials from suppliers and ensure on-time deliveries
  • To hold the delivery if the quality is not acceptable
  • To make claims against supplier if the goods supplied from them are rejected by our customers
  • Assist the buyer in project costing reports
  • Liaise with Account Department on payment matters
