**MIG Welder - 1st shift**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate heavy-duty MIG welding equipment to accurately and quickly fuse steel components for trailers. Daily responsibilities include material preparation, blueprint reading, quality and safety checks, and equipment maintenance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform high-output welding using MIG equipment to fuse steel components.
+ Measure, cut, and fit base metal pieces prior to welding.
+ Interpret engineering designs, blueprints, and welding symbols.
+ Inspect finished pieces for structural integrity and avoid material warping.
+ Maintain a clean work area and perform safety checks.
+ Pre-inspect gear and tools before shifts to ensure effective operation.
