Job Description
Ysgol Owen Jones currently have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic 1.2 Learning Support practitioner to join our team, providing key ALN support within the classroom and working closely with other teaching staff to ensure provision is effective and that learning needs are met.
Job overview
As a 1.2 Learning Support, you’ll provide support for the class teacher to work with individual and groups of pupils. You will be supporting the pupils to accessing the curriculum at an appropriate level and adapting the learning to make it accessible for students with specific needs. This role also involves providing pastoral support, and you’ll monitor progress to feed back to the class teacher whilst working closely with relevant staff to ensure an individual can achieve to the fullest extent.
