Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality 1:1 support for a pupil with specific learning, communication, or behavioural needs.
- Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and strategies set by the SEND team.
- Adapt learning tasks and resources to ensure accessibility and engagement.
- Support the pupil with emotional regulation, social skills, and confidence-building.
- Use positive behaviour support approaches to maintain a calm, safe learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider staff.
- Monitor and record progress, feeding back observations to teachers and professionals.
- Support the pupil during classroom activities, small groups, transitions, and unstructured times.
